Day 17 – Favorite story or collection of stories (short stories, novellas, novelettes, etc.)

Let me think. I'm not a huge short story reader.I read so much that I never get the chance to really enjoy a short story. I'm leaning towards something like the old Readers Digest volumes that Mum used to have (particularly the one containing MAdeleine Brent's Merlin's Keep). Otherwise, I'll go with the recently released Legends of Australian Fantasy. Legends is an anthology of fantastic Australian fantasy authors ranging from Garth Nix to Juliet Marillier. It contains novella's from some of their most popular series (Nix's Wall series, Marillier's Sevenwaters) and an up and coming new series from Kim Wilkins.

Authors Note: I'm so exhausted right now. I have finished all but the conclusion of my mythology essay (Gilgamesh was the most fun to write about), but need to start on another essay about sex in fairy tales. As well as get moving on my Puppy Mills video. I'll be posting about my journalism classes soon. I'll have a camera (Masters class camera, so its HUGE) for the weekend so I can film at the Oscar's Law stall in Frankston.
To top it off, my laptop may have died this morning. I've had Manny for almost 3 years and this morning his battery pack started making terrible, terrible noises. Gah. NOT GOOD!
